Tomorrow(!), Thursday, 6 Feb. at 8 pm, we return with the 3rd of 4 films we’re showing in our film series: “4 Filmes de Almodóvar“. Next up is Oscar-nominated “Julieta“. Watch the trailer here.
If you’ve not experienced Film Nights at tuesday before, it involves:
a) 4 films, one every Thursday at 8pm for one month (for this series, all films are in the original Spanish with German subtitles)
b) free entry
c) donation-based drinks and snacks
d) all welcome, bring your friends!

Food Coop: Supercoop Friedenau
Join tuesday coworker, Florian, who will explain the concept behind the food coop that is rapidly gaining momentum. If you’re curious about how to get regional products on the cheap, come to our Belziger Strasse space next Monday at 8pm. And with 35 families already on-board, you can get to know your neighbours while you’re at it!

Anti-Valentine’s Day: “Cupid’s Chokehold”
Are you looking to celebrate, or not celebrate, Valentine’s Day? Thinking of skipping the romance, chocolates, flowers and clichés? Then, we’ve got the perfect event for you! Join us on Friday, 14 February for the launch of the second edition of the collaborative zine: “My Homegirls’ Boyfriends” Volume II. We’ll be featuring a collection of stories and drawings that highlight what it’s like to date in the 21st century, from heartbreak hotel to digital love affairs and everything in between!

Artist Talk for Tell It! Tuesdays: “Voicing Punk Rock”
And finally, on Tuesday, 25 Feb., our Tell It! Tuesdays series gets another outing. Join host Rhea Ramjohn as she deviates from our regular program of highlighting a specific place, instead entertaining us with an evening that covers artists from Afghanistan, to Egypt, to Iran.
We’ll hear from the creator and editor of the zine What’s Afghan Punk Rock Anyway?, Armeghan Taheri about the origins of the zine, it’s masterful visuals, and from the art & literary contributors themselves, including the incredible Allia Sadeghipour of *awerfjil* and author of the recently published Ghosts of Berlin (available for purchase at the event).
The evening kicks off at 7pm and entry is donation-based (suggested donation: €5-8)
