Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a way to track the availability of team offices at the spaces without monitoring this site?

You could set up an AI bot to inform you of any changes to the text made on this page. We ourselves use a handy free bot from browse.ai to be informed of changes to other websites.

Are there any other amenities/benefits that this membership provides?

You have access to the meeting rooms (10 hours per members per month) and phone booths (unlimited) as well as a whole host of benefits like free coffee and discounts, etc.

How can my team and I access our team office?

You and your team will have smartphone access to the spaces and physical keys to the team offices.

What security measures do the offices have?

We have security cameras, alarm systems and smart access solutions which can be activated and deactivated as needed.

What is the maximum capacity of the team offices?

At any one time, our largest team offices could fit a maximum of five team members, however, using our Hybrid Workspace software, as detailed above, you would be able to have, for example, four colleagues come in on one day, and four different colleagues come in the next day. Why not get in touch with us for a demonstration!

What can I do if the team offices are full?

We’re happy to add you to our waiting list. Things can change fast and if one of our teams want to move out as quickly as possible, then we’ll start going through our waiting list to see who’s ready to come take their place.

Do you need to pay anything or get a membership to be on the waiting list?

No, we’ll add you to our waiting list and then get in touch when an option opens up.

Are there times and/or days where my team would be unable to access the team office?

No. Since your team office is your kingdom and all your stuff is in there, you are always guaranteed access to your office.

Is it possible to purchase drinks for my meeting room booking?

Yes! We offer a per-person per-day drinks flat-rate which includes organic coffee, a wide selection of Cupper teas and Viva Con Agua mineral water.

Can I get catering for my meeting room booking?

Catering is only possible with event space rentals where there are 10 or more participants.

How late can I book the space?

The meeting rooms and the event space can both be booked until 10pm.

What are your cancellation conditions?

If your cancellation reaches us 48 or more hours before the booking, cancellation is free.

If you cancel 48-24 hours before your booking, you will be charged 50% of the price of the first day’s rental. For example, if a booking which you make for a Monday (9am-6pm) and Tuesday (9am-5pm) is cancelled between Saturday 9am and Sunday 9am, then 50% of the fee for Monday (9am-6pm) will be charged. Tuesday will not be charged.

Using the same example, if you cancel 24 hours or less before your booking, you will be charged 100% of the price of the Monday rental and 50% of the price for the Tuesday rental.

Is there a minimum number of meeting participants I need to invite to book these spaces?

No. If you want a room just for yourself to spread out your documents on the big table or have an online call, you’re welcome to use the room for those purposes too.

Is there a minimum booking duration for the meeting rooms?

From Monday to Friday it’s one hour. At the weekend it’s two hours.

Are guests allowed to use coworking spaces outside of the meeting rooms?

Guests can use the couch areas at the front of the spaces, but must be accompanied by the members. Guests are not permitted to use coworking desks as they are used by paying members.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We can issue invoices to your company or to you personally, which can be paid either via credit card or direct debit.

Is it possible to reserve the phone booths?

Yes, you can use our Member Portal’s online booking system to book a cabin for yourself for up to three hours at a time.

How many coworkers are working at tuesday coworking?

It fluctuates, as of March 2024, we have 250 expert freelancers and team members spread out between the three spaces.

Are locations cleaned often, or do I have to pitch in?

We have cleaners who come regularly. The only thing we might as you to do is to run the dishwasher if you’re the last one leaving.

How can you guarantee that there will be enough space for everybody?

Since the majority of our members avail of the Flex 50 (20 hours per week) option, it’s extremely rare that we experience any issues here. If we do, then we stop accepting new members for that specific location.

How long is the minimum membership?

Our minimum membership is one month if your membership starts at the start of the month. If you start in the middle of a month, your membership will run for one month with termination to the end of the month. For example, say you start on the 22nd of the month, the earliest your membership will discontinue will be at the end of the following month. In this example, your first bill will be pro-rated for the period 22-28/30/31.

How long has tuesday coworking been open for coworkers?

We opened our first Berlin coworking space in the summer of 2016 (closing it in 2024). Our second, larger space we opened in the summer of 2018. Since then we’ve been the home of the neglected freelancer, providing them with that very necessary work-life separation.
Bonus factoid: We opened our third space, Bundesallee in 2021 and our Neukölln space in January 2023!

If someone is on the phone at a location, but I want to work in a quiet environment, is there something I can do?

Our Belziger Strasse and our Pflügerstrasse locations have Quiet Zones where no phone calls are allowed, so you can go there. Our Bundesallee Space is set up entirely as a Talker Space, but you can book the phone booth or the meeting room there if you need to take some confidential calls.

Are you open longer than 9am-6pm?

Our staff is available weekdays from 9am-6pm, but members have additional access outside these hours too. Coworking members have access to both Bundesallee and Pflügerstrasse 24/7. Belziger Strasse is accessible from 8am-10pm from Monday to Friday and 10-8pm at the weekends.

Can I bring my pet dog, Sir Meowsalot?

Strange name for a dog, but sure, provided he’s not disruptive for your fellow coworkers, bring Sir Meowsalot along!

What adjectives would you ascribe to the different spaces?

Belziger Strasse: amenable (that is, full of amenities), airy, be-high-ceilingéd, focussed, junglific, community-centred
Bundesallee: be-very-high-ceilingéd, industrial, representative
Pflügerstrasse: rustic, woody, imperfect!

Can I bring my own food and drinks to coworking spaces?

You can! All of our spaces have kitchens with cookers and enough pots & pans for you to get your cook on! If you’re making food that smells, you should eat it in the kitchen. If it’s just an apple or a croissant, etc., then you’re welcome to have them at your desk as well if you feel like it.

Can I come for a free trial day without an appointment?

No. You must have an appointment with us so we can explain to you how everything works at the space(s). You can make an appointment via the Free Trial Day button at the top of this website.

Can I share my membership?

Sorry, no can do. Memberships are per person only.

With "Flex 50", how do you monitor the 20 hours per week?

It’s trust-based. We trust you to be cool about it and if you think you’re at the coworking space(s) for more than the allowed 20 hours per week on a regular basis, then come to us and we’ll sort out a new package for you.

I'm on the phone a lot, is that cool?

Worry not, my considerate friend, all of our spaces have phone booths and meeting rooms so you can take your confidential calls in private. Moreover, our Bundesallee space is set up entirely as a talker space, while our Belziger Strasse and Pflügerstrasse spaces both have Talker & Quiet Zones.

Can I book a trial day for multiple locations?

You can book a free trial day at one location only. We’re happy to arrange tours if you’re interested in viewing the other spaces.

What are your opening hours?

A member of staff is usually available between 9am and 5pm. Bundesallee and Pflügerstrasse are accessible for members 24/7, while Belziger Strasse is open for members between 8:00 am and 10 pm.

Do you offer day tickets?

Sorry, we don’t do day tickets or week tickets. Our memberships are for a minimum of one month so that people can get to know each other.

Why is it called "tuesday"?

Tuesday is scientifically-proven* to be the most productive day of the week. So come to tuesday and every day is like a Tuesday!

*  by scientifically-proven, we mean not scientifically-proven

Did I hear something about a discount for womxn?

You sure did! It’s more to set an example for larger corporations to be inspired to reassess their own wage policies, but indeed, those freelancers / solopreneurs who identify as women, coworking from our spaces are entitled to a 19% discount. This represents the unadjusted gender pay gap calculated in 2020 for Germany by the Federal Statistics Office. Find out more about the campaign here.

Can I have a tour booked for multiple locations on the same day?

It depends on the day and how the staff’s schedule looks. It’s not impossible 😉

With "Flex 50", is it possible to carry over unused hours to a different week?

Sorry, each member with a “Flex 50” membership is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This is so that not everyone with monthly deadlines comes and packs out the spaces in the last week of the month.

How much does the meeting room cost for members?

Depending on your package, members get either 5 hours (Flex 50), 10 hours (Flex 100) or 20 hours (Fixed Desk) per month meeting room usage for free! If you go over, you will be charged the non-member price per hour (€20 or € 25 depending on the room) but with a 50% member discount, so €10 or €12.50 / hour.

Is there a way to see what the other members at the space do?

Yes! When you sign up, you’ll get access to our online coworker platform, which has a list of all your fellow coworkers and the areas where they work. If you’re looking for people working on similar projects to you or need to find, for example, a website developer, you can search through the directory by keyword or skill. You can of course also opt out from this member database if you don’t want to be included in it.

I'll be leaving the coworking space, but I still want to attend community events and keep in touch with the community. Is there some way to do that?

Members leaving the space can avail of our Club Membership, which allows you to stay on our Slack (Community messaging tool). You also get one day of coworking and one hour in the meeting room included in this monthly membership.
