Hello there!
September will not only see Aldi introduce 1 cent charges for fruit & veg plastic bags, Kitas abolishing fees for 3-6 year olds and online financial services introducing the oh-so-exciting two-factor-authentication, it also sees the masses dödeling their way back to Berlin from their holidays. Good thing we’re expanding our coworking space, says you, what?!
Thursday, 12 September is the date we’ve set fo our mini-reception as we open our new “Talker Level” upstairs (more on that below!). You can also follow our progress on Instagram!

BERLIN COWORKING FESTIVAL

Brace, brace yourselves for the Berlin Coworking Festival X – 10th Anniversary, celebrating, would you believe it, 10 years of coworking in Berlin!
So what is it?
The Berlin Coworking Festival is an event aimed at promoting coworking in general. So far, there are 15 signed-up spaces opening their doors to promote coworking culture to anyone coworking curious.
Now more than three years on the go, tuesday coworking is of course also taking part in the festivities. We have a couple of events on to celebrate and I’d love you to get involved!
COWORK IN THE PARK
Tuesday, 10 September 2019
Heinrich-Lassen Park (between our two spaces)
On Tuesday, 10 September, if the weather’s nice, we’ll be taking coworking to the park! Specifically, Heinrich-Lassen Park, conveniently located between our two spaces here(Google Maps link)
Come get your work done while enjoying the lush green grass underfoot and fresh air in your lungs. We’ll be setting up our shared coworking table from 1-5pm in one of Berlin’s most beautiful parks and you’re welcome to join us for as long as your battery lasts! Then on Thursday, we’ll be celebrating the soft-opening of our new upstairs space at 5:30pm at Belziger Strasse. We’ll be organising some wine & cheese, which we’re hoping will go down well in our so-called “White Garden” concept space!
If you wish to take part in the Wine & Cheese Tasting, please note that it is limited to 24 people. Only those who have RSVP’d will be able to participate.
There will be other, peasant wine for the rabble.

GERMAN (AND TURKISH) CLASSES RETURN
Starting 17 and 18 September 2019
at tuesday coworking, Belziger Strasse 71
Feinsprecher (Deniz) and her killer concept of teaching languages in combination with cooking is back at tuesday. Starting 17 and 18 September, she’ll be recommencing her German and Turkish classes again. She offers morning & evening courses, semi-intensive courses, one-day workshops and team events for different languages and levels!
For each course (level) you will receive a booklet with information about the language, culture, food culture and recipes to be prepared during the class. Each lesson also includes valuable and useful exercises on various topics, learning tools and interactive vocabulary lists.
Languages taught:
- German A1-B2
- German Conversation A2-B2
- Turkish A1-B1
- Turkish Conversation A2-B2
- Turkish One-Day Workshops
Other languages (including Arabic) offered according to demand.

NEW READING SERIES: TELL IT! TUESDAYS

tell it! tuesdays is a cultural event series that highlights visual and performance artists, journalists and writers from around the globe, as they hold literary and photographic presentations, exhibitions, and talks directly with the audience about their work. Join us on the last Tuesday of every month where the artists take the stage with their work and tell it!
This month, Senegal!
We will be highlighting the work of writers, photographers, and poets who have pinpointed their Senegalese heritage as playing a role in their exploration of their artistic expression.
If you would like to present your journalistic work, photography, short film, or creative writing, please send an email to tellittuesdays@outlook.com with a short description of what you would like to present (what medium, title, duration) along with a short bio.
Open to submissions until September 12th.
Suggested donation: €5 / €4 students
Open to all – donations are strongly recommended, as all proceeds will be going towards the artists and presenters.
Our host: Rhea Ramjohn is a creative writer from Trinidad via Boston and Berlin. She is the creator and host of the Tanti Table Podcast, co-host of The Poetic Groove Show in Berlin, founder of Waive: WoC Artists/Academics/Activists in Vernacular Expression, a writer of novels, poems, and screens.
