Experimental Discussions are all about finding rules that bring more structure and clarity into a conversation. But because we are not robots I usually try to find a good balance between sticking to the rules and improvising.
However, every now and then I get feedback like: ‘I would have liked even more structure!’
Very well then, challenge accepted! I’d actually love to have a discussion where we try out what happens when we follow the rules super consistently.
And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing next time. In particular, I would like to experiment with us trying to speak as little as possible during the discussion 🙂
I will explain the exact rules at the beginning of the discussion, then we will vote for a topic that we find most interesting and then let’s see what happens!
You do not need to have any experience with the method to take part. Just bring curiosity and readiness to experiment. Also, don’t let the ‘’strictness‘’ stress you out, it will be more playful than difficult. You can’t mess it up – and it will be fun.
Let me know if you have any questions!
