Changes to tuesday coworking's Health and Safety Policy to combat the spread of Covid-19

As a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we have implemented new procedures to help reduce the spread and flatten the curve. This involved updating our Healthy and Safety Policy.

Update, 5 June 2020:

Meeting room bookings: In accordance with „Part 2 – Trade, Commerce and Social Institutions and Facilities § 5 Special Types of Commercial Enterprises, Culture and Special Hygiene Regulations“ which is available on the Berlin Senate’s website here:

https://www.berlin.de/corona/en/measures/directive/#headline_1_6

tuesday coworking is now permitted to hold events and meetings at our spaces follows:

(3) Meetings, incentives, conventions, events, trade fairs and exhibitions similar to trade fairs, special markets and commercial leisure activities may be opened to the public from June 2, 2020. From June 2, 2020, up to 150 persons are permitted indoors and from June 30, 2020, up to 300 persons. The regulations of § 6 apply accordingly to food and beverage offers. For personnel with guest contact, § 2(4) number 9 applies accordingly. Outdoors, the above-mentioned events and meetings are permitted from June 2, 2020, with up to 200 people; from June 16, 2020, with up to 500 people; and from June 30, 2020, with up to 1,000 people.

In this respect, please note that in order to adhere to the recommended safety guidelines and distancing regulations, our meeting rooms now have a capacity of 8 („Fire“ on Feurigstrasse), 6 („Earth“ on Belziger Strasse) and 3 („Air“ on Belziger Strasse).

Update, 5 May 2020:

1. The guideline of two persons per room has been lifted.
2. We are adhering to the recommended distance of 1.5 meters from each other and have positioned our tables and chairs in such a way that this is possible to maintain over the course of the day.
3. Members are advised to wash their hands regularly and to wipe down the tables and armrests of the chairs before leaving the space. There is disinfectant and tissue paper readily available.
3. Both the Robert Koch Institute and the Berlin Chamber of Commerce agree: we don’t have to wear face masks at our spaces as we’re not a shop with hundreds of people coming through each day.
4. All of our bathrooms now have automatic hand towel dispensers.

Update, 22 April 2020:

1.    Social Distancing: The number of people who can be in our space at any time has been reduced by the number of desks in the respective space. All members still need to be at least 1.5 meters away from each other. In other words, every other desk is now unavailable. Tables have in any case been moved further away from each other where possible. In other instances, some chairs have been removed from tables (upstairs at Belziger Strasse) to ensure only one person sits there at a time.

2.    We are cleaning and disinfecting shared surfaces and high-touch areas on a regular basis. These include desks, doorknobs, buttons and switches, and kitchen and bathroom taps, as well as other areas. Members are requested to also wipe down any surfaces they come into contact with.

3.    We are providing members with tissues, paper towels and hand sanitiser. Soap is available at all sinks. We ask that everyone in the space thoroughly washes their hands frequently with warm water for at least 20 seconds and tries to avoid touching their face. Please also sneeze into a tissue or your elbow rather than your hand, then dispose of the tissue immediately and wash your hands.

4.    If a confirmed case of COVID-19 is present in our workspace, or individuals in our workspace have been exposed to a confirmed case, we will perform a full cleaning and disinfection of the respective space and notify all members.

If you have any questions, you can email John on info@tuesdaycoworking.com. Please check back often for updates.
